Acknowledgment of Country

 

We acknowledge the  Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation. The Wingate team would like to acknowledge their continued connection to the lands and waters and thank them for caring for Country for thousands of generations. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and recognise that Aboriginal Sovereignty was never ceded.

We follow the principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach, inspired by Loris Malaguzzi’s belief that “a child’s mind is not a container to be filled, but a fire to be ignited.”
